• . Memorize your lines and lyrics. Try not to hold cue cards or pieces of paper during your performance.
• Pay attention to little details like your attire. Make sure they are neat and clean.
• Your video is a representation of who you are. Be natural, calm and in control. The camera is your friend.
• Your video will be viewed globally by all types of audience (critics and fans alike). Strive to do your best.
• Try to rehearse before you go “Live”
• This website is visited by people of different ages, religion, nationalities, gender and cultures. Try and keep your performance appeal to as many people as possible.

How to make your performance professional and appealing?

• Choose to perform in a quiet place free from distracting sounds. Honking cars, crying kids, ringing phones decrease the appeal of your performance.
• Keep microphone away from nose and mouth. Don’t breath into it.
• Choose camera location carefully to make sure the focus is only on you, the performer. Zoom in if you have to, this will eliminate the surroundings that do not contribute to the video.
• Jerky videos or unwanted camera shakes are really annoying and unprofessional. Place camera on a tripod or on a stable surface.
• Avoid distractions (people walking by, pets running etc) in your video.
• Make sure there is enough light available and avoid bright lights from behind the subject.
